Our Programs

The mission of Alder Row is to promote contemporary art in all media by providing a space for artistic creation, exhibition, education and dialog within a natural setting. We have created an environment that cultivates an exchange between creators and the public while also supporting the production of enduring works and groundbreaking ideas.

We have three main activities:

• Public and educational programming, to commence in 2024
• Artist-in-residence program of Alder Row, planned for the spring of 2025
• Short-term housing for visiting artists, students and educators who are involved with larger cultural venues on the island, which is already underway.
